Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Providence Bible Fellowship is to worship and glorify God by:
Equipping the saints for ministry through the careful exposition of Scripture and application of the Word of God to their lives[1 Peter 3:15],
Cultivating the desire of the saints to think, discern, and act biblically in all areas of living [Ephesians 5:22-6:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Timothy 4:15; Titus 2:2-8],
Training up men for the teaching and preaching of God’s Word [1 Timothy 3:1-7; 2 Timothy 4:2; Titus 1:6-9],
Raising up men to take on the leadership roles of the church as elders and deacons, and as leaders at home [1 Timothy 3:1-7; 1 Timothy 3:8-13; Titus 1:6-9; Ephesians 5:23 and 6:4; Colossians 3:19 and 21], and
Advancing the kingdom of Christ by communicating His gospel to the world [Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:14-15],
With all things being done in the context of serving one another in love.
